45th Anniversary Thanksgiving and Fundraising Banquet is Successfully Concluded

After 45 years of service inside and outside prisons, we have witnessed God’s infinite love and power, the miracles in the lives of prisoners and rehabilitated people, and the transformation and revival of families all of which make us sing songs of thanksgiving, praise and honour!

The celebration began with the KSA Worship Team consisting of rehabilitated persons leading worship. Because God had accomplished great things for them they expressed their gratitude and joy deep in their hearts through worship!

We would like to thank the Assistant Commissioner of the Correctional Services Department and the Assistant Director of the Social Welfare Department for attending. Their speeches inspired us deeply. We are grateful for our partnership over the years and believe that our work can continue to benefit Hong Kong society.

The Christian and Mission Alliance loaned the Lai Chi Kok Road property to the Kun Sun Association free of charge to bless our ministry for the past 40 years. The climax of the 45th Anniversary thanksgiving was that this property was gifted to Kun Sun Association by the Christian and Mission Alliance!

A young rehabilitated person testified that because a co-worker spoke a few caring words to him, he experienced the reality of God through prayer, which transformed his life and now he has enrolled into a Bible seminary.

The Onesimus Training team wrote and performed a play to express how they learned to share the gospel after their own lives were changed and how they helped those who were bound and tortured in sin to come to Jesus.

Videos were shown demonstrating how the hostel ministry, fellowship ministry and family ministry have all been used to glorify God and bear fruit. Finally, the ministry outlook of the Kun Sun Association was shared to inspire and encourage everyone.

The chairman of our board, Rev. Chow Wing Fu (the second front) led a team of the directors and the advisory board to take a photo together with Mr. Tong Seon, AC (RU) of the CSD (the thid front)  and Ms. Chan Lai Chu, AD (YC) of the SWD (the fourth front).

The representatives of the residents of Male Hostels and Female Hostels teamed up a choir to present a song, “Clear Sky”.

The students of Onesimus Training Programme presented a drama.
